Dr. Lowenthal

Dr. Lowenthal is a Clinical-Community Psychologist in Southern California. Since  2009, she has  been the owner and operator of a Creative Insights Counseling, a small private practice in Redlands. She began her clinical training in 2003 at the AIDS Service Center in Pasadena and has been heavily focused on working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples and families. She also sees a frontline workers, college students and those who have experienced the loss of a spouse. She is a Certified Grief Educator and is trained in EMDR.  Dr. Lowenthal is an author, and teaches internationally. She has been featured in print with NBC news, Forbes and more. She is a a cishet ally and works from a strengths based, social justice informed lens. She attempts to use her white/cishet privilege to open doors and conversations that create safety and opportunity for those of lived experience as LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC humans.
