  • What is Kampmeeting?
    Kampmeeting is an annual gathering organized by Seventh-day Adventist Kinship International, bringing together members and allies in a celebration of unity, diversity, and shared experiences.
  • Where will Kampmeeting take place?
    Kampmeeting 2023 will be in Riverside, CA at a local venue. Sabbath gatherings will be held at the La Sierra University Church (Sierra Vista Chapel.) and workshops and other programs at another venue in Riverside, CA.
  • Who can attend Kampmeeting?
    Kampmeeting is open to all SDA Kinship members, families, friends and allies who wish to participate in the festivities and connect with the larger community.
  • What activities can I expect at Kampmeeting?
    Kampmeeting offers a range of activities, including engaging workshops, insightful presentations by thought leaders from the LGBT+ community. This year will feature a lively drag brunch fundraiser, and opportunities for socializing and community wellness events.
  • Is accommodation/ lodging included with my registration fee?
    Kampmeeting registration covers attendance at Kampmeeting sessions and activities only and does not include lodging accommodations. Therefore, it is essential for each attendee to make their own lodging arrangements for the duration of their stay. Click here for recommended lodging.
  • Can I bring my family and friends to Kampmeeting?
    Yes, you are welcome to invite your family and friends to join you at Kampmeeting. It is a wonderful opportunity for them to learn, support, and connect with LGBTIQA+ current and former Seventh-day Adventists, families, friends and allies.
  • Is there any financial assistance available for attending Kampmeeting?
    SDA Kinship understands the importance of accessibility. While specific financial assistance options may vary, there may be scholarships or support programs available. Email kampmeeting@sdakinship.org for details.
  • What if I want to come on Sabbath only?
    Sabbath-only tickets can be purchased on our registration page. You are also welcome to join us for a fellowship potluck on Sabbath between 12:30 and 2:30pm at the La Sierra University Church Fellowship Hall. Bring a dish to share :)
  • Will transportation be provided?
    Limited local transportation support may be available for those who require assistance. Please email us at kampmeeting@sdakinship.org to inquire about transportation options.
